P2 Food Ideas – HCG Round 1 VLCD 36
Barbecuing can add a lot of flavor to p2 foods while on HCG Injections. I barbecue my beef when I have it, and barbecued asparagus is awesome. I steam a lot of my veggies as well. For those of you who haven’t tried out Fennel much, or shy away from it because you’ve never really had it- fennel is delicious sliced up and steamed with a little salt and pepper. I also make some soups where I simmer celery in water to make a broth, then add tilapia or other fish at the end. The only caution here is that, for myself anyway, I find myself adding too much salt to these soups to make them to my taste, and this leads to water gains on the scale, which can be discouraging mentally. This is day two of the very low calorie diet portion of the hcg diet/Dr. Simeon’s Protocol. Tried two more recipes out of the 101 Worry Free HCG Diet Recipes book and they were both really awesome. Down 4 pounds in 2 days! Getting ready to rock the real weight loss tomorrow since I hit my pre-load weight this morning. Can’t wait to see the scales tomorrow!
