After giving HCG injection almost after 36 hours grown and mature egg release from an ovary.
HCG is nothing but it is a pregnancy hormone, that’s why doctors always suggest doing a pregnancy test after 14 days of given HCG injection, otherwise, pregnancy test shows a false positive result.
During IUI/IVF treatment doctors get a time frame, so that in IVF Treatment they do egg retrieval process after giving hCG injection. and in IUI process when the doctor injects sperm to the uterus on the same day the give HCG injection, they generally prefer to do IUI process before ovulation.
