P2 Food Ideas – HCG Round 1 VLCD 36
Barbecuing can add a lot of flavor to p2 foods while on HCG Injections. I barbecue my beef when I have it, and barbecued asparagus is awesome. I steam a lot of my veggies as well. For those of you who haven’t tried out Fennel much, or shy away from it because you’ve never really had it- fennel is delicious sliced up and steamed with a little salt and pepper. I also make some soups where I simmer celery in water to make a broth, then add tilapia or other fish at the end. The only caution here is that, for myself anyway, I find myself adding too much salt to these soups to make them to my taste, and this leads to water gains on the scale, which can be discouraging mentally.
