So what’s the consensus guys? Mct and coconut oil in addition to the 500 calories? Thanks!
Should You Include Coconut Oil Calories in the 500 Calories of the HCG Diet?
This is actually a question I posed to the YouTube community after my first round on HCG Injections. If you read all the comments you’ll notice the consensus is that most do not include any coconut oil they may have as part of the 500 calories, rather it is eaten on top of the 500 calories. This is with good reason in my mind as the 500 calories is just enough so as not to cause you to become nutrient deficient during the protocol. Not that coconut oil doesn’t have nutrients, but since it’s a fat and therefore a super calorie dense food, using it as part of your 500 calories would mean you are now eating a lot less regular food while on the diet- probably not a good idea (I’m seeing visions of myself carrying around 1 breadstick all day waiting for the best time to eat it.) How To Eat Right To Avoid High Blood Pressure
Once you decide to get healthy, you will find yourself on the path to good diet and nutrition. Take your time, as this should be a lifetime change in your eating habits. You can also ease into it with these tips below.
Fiber is a great thing for anyone to have in their diet. When you get enough fiber it helps keep your weight under control, and you don’t feel as hungry. It can also reduce your blood cholesterol level. You can even reduce your risk of diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.
Getting the right nutrition is important for your body to function properly. To ensure you get the right amount of vitamins, try taking a multivitamin. Any vitamin shop will be able to help you with what you need. For example, a middle-aged female will search for vitamins that target her needs. Drink lots of water when you take your vitamins.
Eat ground turkey rather than ground beef. This will reduce the fat and total calories you are ingesting. Be sure you get the turkey breast that is ground because the dark turkey meat is almost identical to the ground beef nutritionally. Make sure you don’t grab just any ground turkey, as only the leaner portions are healthier than red meat.
You can concoct fruit smoothies on your own at home. The smoothies that are sold in restaurants or bought at grocery stores may be highly caloric and contain undesirable preservatives or additives. When you make it yourself, you control the ingredients. Making customized smoothies helps you fill your daily requirements of fruits and vegetables. Try healthy ingredients like fresh fruit, skim milk and Greek yogurt as a base.
The road to a healthy diet is taken in baby steps. This article will show you how you can get started. These are certainly not required, and even should you do exhaust them, more are out there. Each healthy choice you make will move you closer towards your overall goal.
