Steak days work for me guys!!

November 2012 update:
I am cycling crossfit with the hCG diet to achieve the best body composition for myself. In 9 months of attending crossfit I have gained 12 lbs of muscle (proof by hydrostatic body fat testing). Through the hCG diet I have lost almost 40 lbs of actual fat (not just water weight or muscle)- again, proof by hydrostatic body fat testing and DEXA scan. My hydrostatic bodyfat percent started at 34.5% and I am currently 17.9% bodyfat. All fat loss was achieved with the hCG diet, scouts honor!

Wash And Prepare Fruits And Veggies The Right Way

If you want to eat more nutritiously, you just have to make the decision to do it. This is not a trip you have to take quickly; there is no deadline on setting up healthy eating habits. Start using the tips you will find here and use them to start improving your diet.

A good daily diet has to include protein. You need protein because it promotes the health of muscles, blood, organs and skin. In addition, they boost your metabolism and assist with your cell processes. Additionally, proteins help your body’s immune system defend itself from pathogens. Lean meats, fresh fish, beans, dairy products, and whole grains can all be excellent sources of protein.

Fiber is important for any diet. Fiber helps aid weight management and controls hunger pangs. Cholesterol levels will become lower, as well. You can even reduce your risk of diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.

Choose a diet that is rich in healthy whole grains. In general people who include whole grains instead of refined carbohydrates are healthier. Add in foods to your daily diet that are made of 100% whole grains. Whole grains give you a lot more fiber and other nutrients your body needs than refined or bleached bread products.

Keeping your digestive system regular and functioning properly will lead to greater weight loss and a lower overall body weight in general. Also, drink lots of water and eat your fiber.

Make sure to mix your diet up with nuts, fish, lean meats, low-fat dairy and whole grains. If you eat many different items, you’ll get all the nutrients you need.

Improving your diet requires little tweaks over time. The ideas presented within this article are great steps towards your new horizon. You don’t have to use them all, and there is still more to learn. Each healthy choice you make will move you closer towards your overall goal.
