Since this time I have discovered it’s best for me not to exercise while on the hCG Diet- however- I think this is due mostly to my different autoimmune disorders- this makes my body more sensitive than most. Many people can exercise while on hCG without trouble. It’s very individual.
I started this hCG diet journey with hCG injections at 172 pounds, 34.5% body fat and a size 16/18.
NOVEMBER 2012 update on me and the hCG Diet:
I am cycling crossfit with the hCG diet to achieve the best body composition for myself. In 9 months of attending crossfit I have gained 12 lbs of muscle (proof by hydrostatic body fat testing). Through the hCG diet I have lost almost 40 lbs of actual fat (not just water weight or muscle)- again, proof by hydrostatic body fat testing and DEXA scan. My hydrostatic bodyfat percent started at 34.5% and I am currently 17.9% bodyfat. All fat loss was achieved with the hCG diet, scouts honor!

So I did this experiment where I did a short burst of exercise (HIIT- High Intensity Interval Training to be exact) while on HCG the other day. At first thought it seemed like it brought good results, but I can’t really say as I didn’t get to try it much after this because my health just wouldn’t hold up to being both on HCG and exercising. And I still have that terrible habit of drinking Diet Coke on this round! I’m so glad I finally broke that habit permanently. I switched to Organic Black Numi Tea that I just love with a little half and half and stevia- it’s just the right caffeine kick for me.
