Portion Control On HCG Diet….(VLCD)

This is my way of planning ahead I now have enough protein to carry me through out my 1.2.3 Phase of the diet this works for me.Before starting the hcg diet this is how I baggy my portions I would usually have (MORE) yes I can eat(GREEDY) lol but this is a great way to keep yourself accountable and on track.

All the advice about eating right can be really confusing, but if you take time to make sense of it, you can greatly improve your health. However, it’s important to understand what you’re doing so that you can change your eating habits safely. If you change your diet without being aware of what you should do, you might eat too much or too little. Don’t fret, these tips can boost your nutrition.

Salads have long been thought of as health foods; however, the dressings many people use are unhealthy. Creamy dressings contain a lot of fat and very little nutrients. Choose a light vinaigrette instead. Alternatively, use olive oil and vinegar to make your own dressing. Simply adding a few cranberries and walnuts to your salad is also an excellent idea.

Make sure you read labels on all prepared foods carefully. Foods that may be advertised as reduced fat could contain other undesirable ingredient in high amounts such as sugar or sodium. Heavily processed foods are bad for you whether you are trying to lose weight or not. The list of ingredients on the label should be easy for people to recognize. If some of the ingredients listed on the label are artificial ingredients, it’s more than likely that the food is processed and unhealthy.

If you are pregnant or breast feeding it is especially important to have a nutritious diet. Pregnant women need to get plenty of protein in their diet. Many women do not have a desire to eat the protein but it is still essential. One great way to make sure those protein needs are met is to blend egg whites into a morning smoothie. Egg whites only have 15 calories, three grams of protein, and no fat so they are great for pregnant women. Be sure that you only use pasteurized eggs.

Now you know the secret — good nutirition is not nearly as hard as it looks. If you do your research and consider a healthy diet that will work for you, it will not be as hard as you might expect. Remembering these tips can help you eat better in a smarter fashion.
