Coconut Oil and the HCG Diet (Phase 2) – Yay or Nay?
You know I can never answer anything without going into detail!

But if you’re pressed for time and just want a yes or no here’s my quick synopsis:

I don’t feel I have enough proof yet that adding coconut oil is safe- people do sometimes report greater weight loss on the scale when including coconut oil on P2, but I have no proof that this extra weight loss is coming from fat- I have concerns from the few times I tried it early in my hCG diet journey that it was causing excess muscle loss and actual fat gain, despite the scale going down faster. For me, this means I’d rather be safe than sorry and I don’t use it on P2. If I ever get proof that it’s not harming the fat loss/muscle loss ratio results, I will post it here immediately!

Keep Your Mind And Body Strong With These Nutrition Tips

Eating well may be the smartest thing you do for yourself. Dieting in a physiologically-friendly way requires a lot of thought and effort. If you are trying to improve your diet, it may be hard to know how to start doing so.

Microwave dinners are not a good food choice, so if you eat too many of them, consider cutting down. This is because a lot of these meals have a lot of sugar and fat in them. Fresh food is always the best way to stay healthy.

Eat more fruits and vegetables! Produce with bright colors almost always has a lot of vitamins and minerals compared to its calorie count. See to it that every meal that you eat contains some fruits and vegetables. If the fruit or veggie skin is edible, include that in your meal because many of the valuable nutrients and antioxidants are found in the skin.

When eating at a restaurant, consider splitting your meal with your dinner companion. Even the best of dishes are often loaded with too many fat grams and calories. If you split the entree, you save on dollars as well as calories. You also will not have to be concerned with the fat content of any particular food, as you will only be eating a small amount at a time. This is a great way to have good tasting food without weight gain.

You should encourage drinking good amount of water over the course of the day. It is acceptable to serve milk or fruit juice once or twice daily, but water is still the best choice. Milk and juice when consumed during the day tends to make kids not as hungry during meal time.

As you can see from this article, successfully managing your diet is a process that requires both research and effort. Persistence is the key if you want to continue reaping the desired benefits. Plan properly, set attainable goals and use the tips from above to achieve successful weight loss.
